Terms of Service

Creating a logg.money account means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not create an account. If you are using the service for an organisation, you are confirming you have authority to accept on its behalf.

logg.money takes bank transaction messages you give it — forwarded SMS, emails from a connected Gmail account, uploaded PDF statements — and extracts structured expense records from them: merchant, amount, category, account, date. It can send you a confirmation over WhatsApp or Telegram, and it presents the history back to you in the app.

It is read-only with respect to your money. The service has no connection to any payment rail, cannot initiate a transfer, and never holds funds.

• Keep your login credentials to yourself; activity under your account is treated as yours.
• Give a real email address — it is how account notices and any deletion request are verified.
• One person per account. Do not resell access or share a single account across a team.

Extraction is performed by a language model reading unstructured text. It is usually right and it is sometimes wrong. A merchant can be misread, a category can be misassigned, a refund can be recorded as a charge, and a message the service never received produces no record at all.

Your bank statement is the authoritative record of your money, not logg.money. Do not use the app's output as the sole basis for a tax filing, a reimbursement claim, an audit, or any other decision where being wrong carries a cost, without checking it against the source.

Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Categories, totals, and any summary or insight the app generates are descriptive conveniences.

• Upload or forward material that is not yours to share, including another person's bank messages or statements without their consent.
• Attempt to reach data belonging to another account, probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission, or work around rate limits and access controls.
• Scrape the service, resell its output as your own product, or use it to build a competing dataset.
• Use it for anything unlawful, including laundering the appearance of transactions that did not occur.

If you find a security flaw, report it to hello@logg.money rather than exploiting it. Good-faith reports are welcome.

Connecting Gmail, WhatsApp, or Telegram means agreeing to those providers' own terms as well as these. The service uses the narrowest access it can: read-only for Gmail, outbound message delivery only for the messaging platforms. You can withdraw any of these connections without closing your account.

The service is early-stage software offered as-is. Features can change, break, or be withdrawn, and there is no uptime commitment. It is free while in its current phase; if paid plans are introduced, existing accounts will be told before any charge applies and will never be billed without an explicit opt-in.

To the fullest extent the law allows, logg.money is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, and is not liable for financial decisions taken on the basis of an extracted record — see clause 4.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid for the service in the preceding twelve months, or USD 50. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

You can stop using the service at any time, and can have your data deleted by writing to hello@logg.money — the Privacy Policy sets out what deletion covers. Access may be suspended or closed if these terms are breached in a way that harms other users or the service, with notice where circumstances allow.

These terms may be updated; the date at the top changes when they are, and material changes are notified by email.

logg.money is built and operated by an independent solo developer, not by a company. There is no support organisation behind it and no legal entity separate from the person who writes it — which is the reason clause 8 caps liability where it does, and the reason the address below reaches someone who can actually fix what you report.
